Protect Our Communities

03.31.25 Delano Cesar Chavez March

Right now, many of our community members are living in fear, uncertain about what will happen to themselves or the people they love. Immigrant communities are being unjustly targeted and profiled, while millions of individuals and families are losing access to the healthcare and food assistance they rely on to survive. You can help.

With the passage of the so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill,” supported by members of Congress including CD-22’s Representative David Valadao, deep tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy have come at the expense of essential services for working families. The bill also included a significant increase to ICE’s budget, trading healthcare and human dignity for detention and deportation.

Now is the time to be brave and to come together across lines of difference and raise our voices for justice.

As Dolores Huerta reminds us:
“Every moment is an organizing opportunity, every person a potential activist, every minute a chance to change the world.”

How can you help protect our communities?
